 Umueri Crisis Claim: False, Election to Hold April 8 - Says Anambra East Mayor By Nwegbo Ifeanyi  The Anambra East LG Chairman, Hon. Ifeanyi Chinweze, has denied allegations of a leadership crisis in Umueri General Assembly, calling the statement from Ikenga Umueri Unity Forum " false and misleading. Addressing journalists, Chinweze said Umueri is peaceful, with town union elections scheduled for April 8, 2026. He claimed Ikenga Umueri Unity Forum, which issued the statement, is actually frustrating the election with selfish motives.  He distanced himself, PG Chief John Metchie, and electoral committee chairman Barr. Eugene Aghaebe from the allegations, saying they were innocent. The controversy arose after Chinweze insisted Ikenga should not hold key positions like, Secretary, and Vice President simultaneously since they have president general, considering Umueri's three quarters (Ezi, Ikenga, and Invite). Personal logistics manager to music star, Davido, Isreal DMW has sent a message to singer, Kizz Daniel over the criticisms he received over his wife’s appearance


Kizz Daniel posted a video of himself and his wife looking all loved up and dancing to his song on Instagram, while looking cute. This cozy appearance didn’t sit well with some netizens, who criticized his wife’s appearance with one telling him that his wife isn’t beautiful and another telling him to get his wife a new wig.


Reacting to it, Isreal DMW made Kizz Daniel know that beauty doesn’t make a good wife. He told the singer to chase after rest of mind, which is more important than beauty. Isreal further admonished him not to be bothered by the nasty comments about his wife’s appearance.

 Tinubu announces arrival of 4 US attack helicopters President Bola Tinubu has stated that four attack helicopters will soon arrive in the country from the United States amid rising insecurity. Speaking at a meeting with a delegation of the Christian Association of Nigeria, led by its President, Archbishop Daniel Okoh, at his Lagos residence, on Friday, Dec. 26, Tinubu revealed that the Federal Government had ordered four attack helicopters from the U.S, adding that they will arrive in the country “soon”.
