OVER 25 MILLION PHONES STOLEN IN ONE YEAR- FG. (PHOTO).

 Over 25 million phones stolen in one year – FG The Crime Experience and Security Perception Survey report of the National Bureau of Statistics, a Federal Government agency, shows that Nigeria recorded 25.35 million phone theft cases between May 2023 and April 2024. According to the report, this was the most common type of crime within the period under review. The report read, “The number of crimes experienced by individuals in Nigeria was analysed over a period of time. The results show that theft of phones (25,354,417) was the most common crime experienced by individuals, followed by consumer fraud (12,107,210) and assault (8,453,258). However, hijacking of cars (333,349) was the least crime experienced by individuals within the reference period.” It also noted that most phone theft cases occurred either at home or in a public place, and about 90 per cent of such cases were reported to the police. CALIFORNIA MOM CRASHES CAR INTO HOME IN DESPERATE ATTEMPT TO RESCUE HER CHILDREN FROM RAGING HOUSE FIRE. (PHOTOS).


 California mom crashes car into home in desperate attempt to rescue her children from raging house fire.


Fresno County FD responded to a home in Kingsburg to the call of a house fire. When they arrived on scene  the home was fully engulfed and the homeowner was ramming her vehicle into the side of the house. She was doing this in an attempt to create a hole to rescue her 2 small children. 


She was trying to save her 8-year-old boy and her 6-year-old girl both of whom family have confirmed were special needs.


According to reports, the fire began abruptly, separating the mother from her children. Mom suffered non life threatening burns to her hands and face attempting to reach the children.


She then ran outside and began ramming her car into the home before the fire department arrived.


Sadly, the 2 children were not able to be saved and they were recovered from the home deceased after the fire was extinguished. 


According to officials, fire crews had to deal with multiple propane and fuel tanks nearby as well as a live power line on the ground.


Our hearts go out to this mother and the unbelievable pain she and her family must be feeling.
