 NEMA COORDINATES SAR OPS AT THE SCENE OF BUILDING COLLAPSE INVOLVING A THREE STOREY BUILDING UNDER CONSTRUCTION AT GUDU AREA OF FCT At about 0945hrs on Saturday 16th May, 2026, the National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA) was alerted of a building collapse at Gudu District of FCT.  Critical stakeholders including Federal Fire, FCT Fire, NSCDC, NPF, FRSC and Federal Capital Territory Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) were activated while a response team of NEMA from the Abuja Operations Office led by the Head of Operations Mr Zakari Abubakar  and operatives from AYA Emergency Response Bay (ERAB) were deployed to the scene for quick response and coordination.  A reinforcement team  from NEMA Headquarters led by the Director Search and Response (DSAR) Air Cdre Bature Usman was also on ground to provide necessary backup and supervision.  ‘Feminism practised in Nigeria is witchcraft’ – Tacha


Big Brother Naija reality show star, Natacha Akide, popularly called Tacha, has said the feminism practised in Nigeria is witchcraft.


The reality star said this in her latest interview while addressing her fight with Mummy Zee.


Tacha had earlier in an interview on her colleague, Phyna’s podcast, spoken about Mummy Zee, the woman that became popular for waking up by 4:30 am daily to cook for her husband.


A social media user had mentioned to Mummy Zee that Tacha was insulting her on a show and Mummy Zee responded; “that one wey no get sense.”


Reacting to her, Tacha who found the woman’s comment disrespectful, went hard on her in a series of social media posts.


However, addressing the controversy during her trending interview with popular media personality, Chude Jideonwo, Tacha denied the X user’s accusation, stating that she was defending Mummy Zee on the show.


While also explaining her own feminism, Tacha described that of Nigeria as witchcraft.


“So, I was literally praising this woman on my show, saying why was feminist trolling her because I love feminist then.


“I was like the feminism you people practiced in Nigeria is witchcraft because when you are supposed to come out you people won’t come out but for the wrong things you just hate men in general. That’s not what I practiced.”
