 NNPC Ltd Launches  New Cawthorne Blend Crude Into Global Market; First Export Cargo Heads To The Netherlands The Nigerian National Petroleum Company (NNPC) Limited,  says it has commenced export of its new crude grade – Cawthorne, a significant milestone in the Company’s drive to increase Nigeria’s crude oil production and expand its portfolio of globally competitive export streams.  A Statement By Andy Odeh Chief Corporate Communications Officer Reveals  Cawthorne blend crude, the latest addition to Nigeria’s basket of crude grades, has an API gravity of 36.4, placing it firmly within the light, sweet category – comparable to Bonny Light, and highly valued in the global market for its superior petrol and diesel yields.  Makinde okays beaded crowns for Onifiditi, Elempe


Oyo State Governor ‘Seyi Makinde has approved the presentation of staff of office and beaded crowns to Onifiditi of Fiditi, Oba Sikiru Akanni Oyelese and Elempe of Tapa, Oba Titilola Oyekanmi Sunday.

A statement by the Commissioner for Local Government and Chieftaincy Matters, Olusegun Olayiwola, said the governor on March 7 approved that the Onifiditi and the Elempe be presented with the instrument of office and beaded crowns.

The statement added that the governor also approved the appointment of Chief Akindele Sunday Olukayode as the new Baale of Awaye Town in Egbeda Local Government.
