 Nigerian man takes up the challenge to be bur!ed alive for 24hours A Nigerian man who identifies as Young C has embarked on a challenge to be buried alive in a coffin for 24 hours.  He made this known in a series of posts on his Instagram page on Wednesday,  stating that the stunt was genuine and not a hoax.  He announced his intention to broadcast live footage from the coffin at night. Sharing a video on his Instagram account on Wednesday, he said, "I am going to be spending the next 24 hours buried in this casket. Guys, this is real, not fake.  "And the most amazing part is that I am going to go live by night." In a subsequent update, Young C revealed that he had been buried for over 8 hours and was experiencing physical discomfort, including excessive sweating.  SANWO-OLU CONGRATULATES SENATOR ABIRU AT 60



Lagos State Governor, Mr. Babajide Sanwo-Olu, has congratulated the Chairman of the Southern Senators and member of the Senate representing Lagos East, Senator Adetokunbo Abiru, on the occasion of his 60 years birthday.


Senator Abiru, the Chairman, Senate Committee on Banking, Insurance and other Financial Institutions, will clock 60 on Monday, March 25.


Governor Sanwo-Olu, in a statement issued on Sunday by his Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Mr. Gboyega Akosile, described Senator Abiru as a seasoned banker, administrator and lawmaker, who has used his various positions for the progress of Lagos State and Nigeria as a whole.


The Governor said Senator Abiru contributed his quota to the growth and development of Lagos State as Commissioner for Finance between 2011 and 2013, and now as two-term Senator, representing the people of Lagos East Senatorial District.


He said: “On behalf of my darling wife, Ibijoke, Government and the people of Lagos State, as well as leaders and members of the All Progressives Congress, I congratulate Senator Tokunbo Abiru on his Diamond Jubilee celebration. 


"Senator Abiru has displayed excellent leadership in the banking sector. He showed leadership during his tenure as the Group Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer of Polaris Bank Limited before he left the bank to become the Senator of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.


"As Commissioner for Finance in Lagos State, Senator Abiru brought many positive reforms to the Ministry of Finance in the State. 


“As Senator, Abiru has contributed immensely to the legislative business in the Red Chamber. His inputs to national growth, especially on the floor of the Senate are pragmatic testament to his visionary leadership.


“As he celebrates his 60th birthday, I pray that God will increase him in good health to enable him render more service to humanity, Lagos State and Nigeria."

Namtira Bwala has threatened to file a lawsuit against the school authorities if her abusers are not punished within 48 hours. In a letter drafted by her lawyers, Deji Adeyanju and Co, Namtira asked the school authorities to immediately investigate and pronounce the stiffest punishments in the student’s rule book on Ms.Maryam Hassan, Miss Faliya, and nine other students who bullied her.
