 INEC yet to finalise delineation of Warri wards — Official  The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) says it has not taken a final decision on the delineation of wards in the Warri Federal Constituency.  The official said, “Following the Supreme Court judgment, the Commission embarked on extensive consultations from February 2023 to July 2024 involving all the critical stakeholders, followed by fieldwork in all the communities in the three Local Government Areas culminating in the production of a draft report. HOUSTON FAMILY ATTACKS UBER DRIVER AFTER HE HITS AND KILLS 1-YEAR-OLD WHILE DROPPING FAMILY OFF. (PHOTO).

 Houston family attacks Uber driver after he hits and kills 1-year-old while dropping family off.


Harris County Sheriff's officials say that the Uber driver had just dropped the family off at an apartment complex in Houston. According to the surveillance video, the driver thought his path was clear and began to accelerate forward. Unfortunately the 1-year-old girl was walking alone in front of the car and due to her small size... he could not see her in front of his vehicle.


Sadly he struck her with the car and dragged her a short distance unfortunately killing the child. At this point in the video, you can see the family of the child begin to drag the driver from the car and physically assault him.


The child was pronounced dead at the scene, and the driver was taken to a nearby hospital and treated for non life threatening injuries.


The sheriff's office referred to the incident as an unfortunate tragedy and we as parents or guardians need to be more alert, and hold their hands as we guide them away from a vehicle.


No charges have been filed in this incident.

 Actor Baba Ijesha appeals five-year jail sentence for sexual assault Nollywood actor Olanrewaju James, known as Baba Ijesha, has filed an appeal against his conviction for the sexual assault of a minor. He has requested the Court of Appeal, Lagos Division, to overturn the ruling of the Lagos State High Court, which sentenced him to five years in prison. The conviction was handed down by Justice Oluwatoyin Taiwo (retd.) of the Ikeja Domestic Violence and Sexual Offences Court on July 14, 2022 to Baba Ijesha. Baba Ijesha through his counsel Kayode Olabiran on Tuesday, told the appeal court that his client was set up and that he acted according to a script that he was invited to act on by his colleague. “The Appellant was set up.
