 Dutch referee Rob Dieperink dies weeks after removal from World Cup officiating list Dutch referee Rob Dieperink has died at the age of 38, weeks after FIFA removed him from its list of officials for the World Cup. The Dutch Football Association (KNVB) confirmed his death in a statement, saying it was “shocked and deeply saddened” by the news. His cause of death has not been disclosed. Dieperink was arrested in April by the Metropolitan Police in the United Kingdom following a report of an alleged sexual assault involving a teenage boy in London. A Metropolitan Police spokesperson said officers responded on April 9 to a report of sexual assault at an address in Croydon and arrested a man in his 30s on suspicion of the offence. Police later said that after reviewing available evidence, including CCTV footage and digital devices, the investigation had concluded that “the evidential threshold had not been met” and no further action would be taken. Jasmine Okafor, the adopted daughter of John Okafor better known as Mr Ibu, has opened up about her crashed marriage.


The socialite, in an interview with Chude Jideonwo, revealed that her marriage fell apart over her husband’s numerous lies. She claimed that her husband had lied to her that he was 38 years old, meanwhile, he was 51 years old.


She further revealed that during their courtship, her husband told her that he had never married nor had he gotten any lady pregnant, but all these were lies.


Jasmine said she found out about his real age on their wedding day.


“Mr Ibu’s daughter, Jasmine has revealed that her husband told her he was 38 yrs old but she found out he was 51 yrs old on their wedding day.


“This guy told me he has never married in his life, or gotten a lady pregnant, in fact, he told me he was 38 years old. The day I found out that my husband was 51 years, old was on our wedding day”.
