 LASG ISSUES TRAFFIC ADVISORY AHEAD OF FANTI CARNIVAL The Lagos State Government has announced traffic diversions and restrictions ahead of the Lagos Fanti Carnival scheduled to hold on Monday, 6th April, 2026, around Tafawa Balewa Square (TBS), Lagos Island. In a bid to ensure a seamless and hitch-free carnival procession, vehicular movement will be restricted along major adjoining roads linking TBS. Affected Routes are; King George V Road (by Mobil Filling Station), Flag House inbound TBS, Force Road inbound TBS, Onikan Roundabout inbound TBS, and WaterBoy Roundabout by Old Defence House. Additionally, all link roads to Moloney Road, such as Military Road (by Old Defence Building), Ajasa Street, Boyle Street, and Hawley Street, will be closed to traffic during the event. Popular skit maker, Maryam Apaokagi, also known as Taaooma, has revealed how enjoyable it was to have featured Canadian – American, King Bach and actor Terry Crews in her comedy skits adding that she has been grinding in the industry about a decade ago.

In an interview with content creator, Egungun of Lagos, Taaooma who is well known for her versatility in performing different parts in her skits expressed delight having worked with Terry and Bach on her recent comedy videos. 

Expressing eagerness to film with more renowned persons, she promised to feature more international celebrities. 

Speaking on the challenging part of her job, Taaooma said that dressing for each character she wanted to represent was one of the difficulties she had while playing her several parts. 

The comedian claimed to have ten years of experience in the comedy industry, adding that she shoots and edits her videos herself.

In her words: “ it’s already 10 years now. I shoot and edit my videos myself. It was very nice experience to shoot videos with Terry Crews and King Bach. I love it and I look forward for more. I’m looking on to shoot with a lot of people as it comes but I don’t want to start mentioning names”

 Tinubu announces arrival of 4 US attack helicopters President Bola Tinubu has stated that four attack helicopters will soon arrive in the country from the United States amid rising insecurity. Speaking at a meeting with a delegation of the Christian Association of Nigeria, led by its President, Archbishop Daniel Okoh, at his Lagos residence, on Friday, Dec. 26, Tinubu revealed that the Federal Government had ordered four attack helicopters from the U.S, adding that they will arrive in the country “soon”. He said: “Our orders for four attack helicopters from the United States of America will take some time to arrive.
