 71-year-old landlord arrested for impregnating tenant’s teenage daughter The Ogun State Police Command said it had arrested a septuagenarian landlord, identified simply as Adesina, for allegedly defiling and impregnating his tenant’s 14-year-old girl (name withheld) at Akegbeyale Street in Ifesowapo Akute, Ifo Local Government Area of the state. PUNCH Metro learnt that the residents and other tenants were thrown into a state of shock when the septuagenarian suspect was found on Tuesday, April 9, 2024, having sexual intercourse with the 14-year-old girl at about 10:15 pm in the house bathroom. The minor, according to a police source who was part of the team that arrested the 71-year-old suspect but was not permitted to speak for the command, was said to have made her way to the apartment’s bathroom to take a shower.  Jose Peseiro Thanks Nigerians, Seeks Continuous Support for Super Eagles

The former head coach of the Super Eagles, Jose Peseiro, has asked Nigerians and fans of the Super Eagles to continue to show support to the players, saying that “these players make sacrifices to bring them joy.”


He said this via his X handle on Wednesday, March 6.


He noted: “I want to thank all Nigerians and the entire press for the interest, support, and encouragement given to the Super Eagles while I was their coach.


“I would like to ask all of you to always support your players.


“These athletes give their all for the Super Eagles, taking pride in representing their country. The players make sacrifices to bring you joy.


“The Super Eagles deserve all your support, which will be very important for the great challenges that lie ahead.”


The Portuguese resigned his post last week following the expiration of his contract with the Nigeria Football Federation.

Namtira Bwala has threatened to file a lawsuit against the school authorities if her abusers are not punished within 48 hours.
