 NLC backs new SSG Chiamaka Nnake, Seeks Workers Welfare  By Ukpa Ewa  The Organized Labour in Anambra State has pledged support to the newly appointed Secretary to the State Government (SSG), Mrs. Chiamaka Nnake, while urging her to place the interest of Anambra and workers’ welfare at the forefront of her administration. The labour delegation, led by Comrade Humphrey Emeka Nwafor of the Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC) and Comrade Chris Ogbonna of the Trade Union Congress (TUC), paid a courtesy visit to the new SSG at the Light House in Awka. Speaking during the visit, Comrade Nwafor said the office of the SSG plays a key role in government labour relations and called on Mrs. Nnake to ensure Anambra workers are given due attention in government affairs. He also congratulated her on becoming the first female SSG in the state at a young age, describing her appointment as historic. Nigerian-American sensation Kanwulia has expressed her love for Lagos, Nigeria and the entertainment scene in the city.

Kanwulia made this known while gearing up for her musical adventure in the country with the ‘Who’s That Girl?’ city tour.

With the official release of her album, ‘Amerikana,’ Kanwulia is set to light up the stage this Easter with her electrifying blend of Afrobeats, jazz, and pop rhythms and of course infectious energy.

Speaking about her upcoming tour, excited Kanwulia said: “Lagos holds a special place in my heart, and I can’t wait to feel the energy of the city pulsating through me as I perform. Innoson Gives Out Brand New IVM G5 and Salary For Life To The Man Who Prophesied About His Vehicle Manufacturing In 1979.  Last Saturday, July 22nd the Chairman of Innoson Vehicle Manufacturing Company Ltd, Chief Dr Innocent Ifediaso Chukwuma OFR gave out a brand new Innoson IVM G5 to Mr Ikechukwu Osakwe popularly known as Osabros who prophesied to him in 1979 that he would be the first man in Africa to manufacture vehicles and sell to different African countries.  The prophecy was given at the period the then Innocent Chukwuma could not boast of a car, talk less of manufacturing one.
