 Dutch referee Rob Dieperink dies weeks after removal from World Cup officiating list Dutch referee Rob Dieperink has died at the age of 38, weeks after FIFA removed him from its list of officials for the World Cup. The Dutch Football Association (KNVB) confirmed his death in a statement, saying it was “shocked and deeply saddened” by the news. His cause of death has not been disclosed. Dieperink was arrested in April by the Metropolitan Police in the United Kingdom following a report of an alleged sexual assault involving a teenage boy in London. A Metropolitan Police spokesperson said officers responded on April 9 to a report of sexual assault at an address in Croydon and arrested a man in his 30s on suspicion of the offence. Police later said that after reviewing available evidence, including CCTV footage and digital devices, the investigation had concluded that “the evidential threshold had not been met” and no further action would be taken. MISSING NEW YORK MAN FOUND DECEASED IN ROCHESTER CITY WATER SUPPLY AFTER MISSING FOR AROUND 30 DAYS. (PHOTOS).

 Missing New York man found deceased in Rochester city water supply after missing for around 30 days.


Abdullahi Muya was found deceased Tuesday in the reservoir that supplies water to Rochester, NewYork.  This prompted the town to be placed on a boil order. However it has since been lifted as the city says diligent and continuous testing identified no immediate concerns. 


The city will be moving its yearly reservoir cleaning from May to March this year. The process usually takes around 8 weeks, officials state.


After finding the body and reviewing security footage they were able to identify Muya entering the gated area around 6:30 pm February 24. He then slid down the side of the reservoir and into the water where unfortunately he drowned. 


Officials say since that time he had remained well below the surface in an area not easily seen.

They have concluded he was alone and there was no foul play involved.
