 WOMAN CRIES FOR HELP AFTER HUSBAND ALLEGEDLY ABANDONED HER IN A LAGOS HOSPITAL AND 'USED MONEY FOR HER CS TO BUY A PHONE AND DOG' A new mum has cried out for help after her husband allegedly abandoned her at the Alimoshso General Hospital in Igando, Lagos State. The newlywed explained that she got pregnant shortly after their wedding and as her due date approached, she developed severe pain and breathlessness and was taken to the hospital where doctors told her she would have to give birth via cesarean section, CS. She said her husband objected and told doctors to discharge her. She alleged that when they got home, he bought herbal concoction for her and asked her to drink it to help her give birth naturally. She said her pain intensified after drinking it and she was rushed to the hospital for the surgery. She cried out for help on Facebook and a kind Nigerian sent her N500,000.  Nigerian swim coach leaves many impressed as he swims the entire length of Third Mainland Bridge


Nigerian man, Dare Akinrodoye, achieves a daring feat as he swims the entire length of Third Mainland Bridge in Lagos.


The swimmer who is popularly referred to as Coach Dreh took up the task to raise awareness for suicide and depression.


He admitted he was once depressed and would have committed suicide if he did not pick up an interest in swimming.


According to him, his choice location for the event was because most individuals who committed suicide publicly in Lagos usually jumped off the Third Mainland Bridge.


The event took place in Lagos, today the 30th of March and had many attendees as well as his medical team present to support him.


The Lagos state commissioner for youth and sports, Mobolaji Ogunlende was also in attendance to represent the state government and show their solidarity.


He swam the entire length of the bridge, which was a total of 11.8 kilometers, without stopping, completing the swim in 2 hours and 33 minutes.

Namtira Bwala has threatened to file a lawsuit against the school authorities if her abusers are not punished within 48 hours. In a letter drafted by her lawyers, Deji Adeyanju and Co, Namtira asked the school authorities to immediately investigate and pronounce the stiffest punishments in the student’s rule book on Ms.Maryam Hassan, Miss Faliya, and nine other students who bullied her.
