 Rape Suspect Escapes from Police Custody in Rivers State A male suspect, identified simply as Goodnews, who allegedly defiled a 16-year-old girl in the Rupokwu community, Obio/Akpor Local Government Area of Rivers State, last week, has escaped from police custody. The case was being investigated by the Criminal Investigation and Intelligence Department in Port Harcourt. It was gathered that the suspect escaped when the scene of the crime was visited as part of the investigation procedures. The suspect was earlier arrested by operatives of the Special Area Rumudomaya and transferred to the State CID, Port Harcourt, last week. According to the father of the alleged defilement victim, Mr. Prince, when they arrived at the scene of the crime, which is their compound, the suspect, who was not handcuffed by the Investigating Police Officer, was having difficulty opening the padlock on his door.  Nollywood colleagues dragging me are envious of me - Yul Edochie


Actor cum preacher, Yul Edochie, has said that his colleagues who have been criticizing him for the past two years are envious of him.


Yul said this in an episode of Our Naija Podcast with hosts Joy and Rukky in a now-viral video on Wednesday, March 6.


He said: "For the past 2 years, they've been dragging me, I'm still here doing better than them if not all of them. 


"Most of the Nollywood people who are against me, for something wey no concern them... it's envy. Look at them, if you bring out all of them, both the men and women, first of all, I am finer than them, I am doing better than all of them. There are some of them who have earned N150,000 per movie for the past 10 years, but they don't grow.
