 WOMAN CRIES FOR HELP AFTER HUSBAND ALLEGEDLY ABANDONED HER IN A LAGOS HOSPITAL AND 'USED MONEY FOR HER CS TO BUY A PHONE AND DOG' A new mum has cried out for help after her husband allegedly abandoned her at the Alimoshso General Hospital in Igando, Lagos State. The newlywed explained that she got pregnant shortly after their wedding and as her due date approached, she developed severe pain and breathlessness and was taken to the hospital where doctors told her she would have to give birth via cesarean section, CS. She said her husband objected and told doctors to discharge her. She alleged that when they got home, he bought herbal concoction for her and asked her to drink it to help her give birth naturally. She said her pain intensified after drinking it and she was rushed to the hospital for the surgery. She cried out for help on Facebook and a kind Nigerian sent her N500,000.  Ogun Exco Approves Abule Egba-Abeokuta Expressway, Ogijo Road, Five Other Major Projects For Execution 

...to carry out palliative work at Iyana Ilogbo bus stop


The @OGSG_Official Executive Council, presided over by Governor @DapoAbiodunCON, has approved seven major priority projects for execution.


The projects, according to the Special Adviser to the governor on Media, Hon, Kayode Akinmade, are the re-construction of six roads, including the Abule Egba-Ota/Sango-Abeokuta Expressway and purchase for some equipment at the Gateway Agro-Cargo International Airport.


The Council approved the reconstruction of the 5.5km Ode Remo Junction to Sapade (phase 3), the rehabilitation of Ayepe Junction to Mayflower in Ikenne Local Government and the reconstruction of Adesan Street, off Mowe-Ofada road in Obafemi Owode Local Government.


Other approvals include, the structural adjustment for the 19.2km Atan-Lusada-Agbara road in Ado Odo/Ota Local Government and the construction of Hospital Road, Ogijo, in Sagamu Local Government.

These, according to Hon. Akinmade will ensure the provision of additional infrastructure in the course of constructing the road.


The purchase of some machinery and equipment at Gateway International Agro-Cargo Airport at Ilishan Remo, he said, will allow 24 hours flight operations and facilitate quick take off of the international acclaimed Airport.


Meanwhile, approval has been given for palliative work to be carried out at Iyana Ilogbo bus stop along the Abule Egba-Ota/Sango-Abeokuta Expressway ( ongoing now) following recent rainfall that led to flooding in the area.

Namtira Bwala has threatened to file a lawsuit against the school authorities if her abusers are not punished within 48 hours. In a letter drafted by her lawyers, Deji Adeyanju and Co, Namtira asked the school authorities to immediately investigate and pronounce the stiffest punishments in the student’s rule book on Ms.Maryam Hassan, Miss Faliya, and nine other students who bullied her.
