 A 13-year-old Florida boy lost his life inside of a tube slide at a playground, leaving behind a shocked and grief-stricken family. The heartbreaking discovery was made when a father took his two children to Shenandoah Park in Miami on September 25th to work out some energy.  What they discovered when trying to use the tube slide may keep these young children from ever playing in an enclosed slide again. 13-year-old Olvin Ballladares was inside of the slide ...and unresponsive.  According to reports, Olvin had gone to the park that morning instead of school. While at the park, Olvin had attempted to slide down the tube slide. While traveling down the slide, Olvin's shirt became caught on a screw and pulled tight around his neck, cutting off his supply to oxygen.  From the way that he was discovered, it appears Olvin had realized what was happening and tried to free himself but was unable.  Ogun Exco Approves Abule Egba-Abeokuta Expressway, Ogijo Road, Five Other Major Projects For Execution 

...to carry out palliative work at Iyana Ilogbo bus stop


The @OGSG_Official Executive Council, presided over by Governor @DapoAbiodunCON, has approved seven major priority projects for execution.


The projects, according to the Special Adviser to the governor on Media, Hon, Kayode Akinmade, are the re-construction of six roads, including the Abule Egba-Ota/Sango-Abeokuta Expressway and purchase for some equipment at the Gateway Agro-Cargo International Airport.


The Council approved the reconstruction of the 5.5km Ode Remo Junction to Sapade (phase 3), the rehabilitation of Ayepe Junction to Mayflower in Ikenne Local Government and the reconstruction of Adesan Street, off Mowe-Ofada road in Obafemi Owode Local Government.


Other approvals include, the structural adjustment for the 19.2km Atan-Lusada-Agbara road in Ado Odo/Ota Local Government and the construction of Hospital Road, Ogijo, in Sagamu Local Government.

These, according to Hon. Akinmade will ensure the provision of additional infrastructure in the course of constructing the road.


The purchase of some machinery and equipment at Gateway International Agro-Cargo Airport at Ilishan Remo, he said, will allow 24 hours flight operations and facilitate quick take off of the international acclaimed Airport.


Meanwhile, approval has been given for palliative work to be carried out at Iyana Ilogbo bus stop along the Abule Egba-Ota/Sango-Abeokuta Expressway ( ongoing now) following recent rainfall that led to flooding in the area.
