 FG reaffirms commitment to North-East inclusion in Agro-Industrial Project amid exclusion claims The Federal Ministry of Agriculture and Food Security has dismissed concerns raised by the North-East Caucus of the National Assembly regarding the alleged exclusion of the region from the Federal Government's flagship agricultural initiative the Special Agro-Industrial Processing Zone (SAPZ) program. The minister of agriculture and food security Sen. Abubakar Kyari made the clarification over the weekend while briefing the media. He noted that the North-East is not only included in the SAPZ program, but that several states from the region have already met the eligibility criteria for the second phase of the project. The response comes on the heels of public criticisms sparked by the recent groundbreaking ceremonies in Kaduna and Cross River states.  Only the Federal High Court has the powers to dissolve our marriage after 2 years” Isreal DMW tells estranged wife, demands a proper return of her bride price


Award-winning singer, Davido’s aide, Isreal DMW has made a public appeal to his estranged wife, Sheila Courage.


Taking to his Instagram story, he pleaded with her to return her bride price in a proper way. He noted how she couldn’t transfer it directly to him through an alert. Isreal reminded her that he wasn’t the one who paid it directly, but his family did and it was by hand


Isreal further noted how they got married under customary acts and as such only the Federal High Court has the statutory powers to dissolve their marriage and that can only be after two years.


“Kindly return my bride price in a proper way. You can’t transfer it directly to me through an alert. I was never the one who paid it directly. My family did, and it was directly by hand. We married under the acts, and it only a Federal High Court, who has the statutory powers to get it dissolved after 2 years”.

 Actor Baba Ijesha appeals five-year jail sentence for sexual assault Nollywood actor Olanrewaju James, known as Baba Ijesha, has filed an appeal against his conviction for the sexual assault of a minor. He has requested the Court of Appeal, Lagos Division, to overturn the ruling of the Lagos State High Court, which sentenced him to five years in prison. The conviction was handed down by Justice Oluwatoyin Taiwo (retd.) of the Ikeja Domestic Violence and Sexual Offences Court on July 14, 2022 to Baba Ijesha. Baba Ijesha through his counsel Kayode Olabiran on Tuesday, told the appeal court that his client was set up and that he acted according to a script that he was invited to act on by his colleague. “The Appellant was set up.
