 71-year-old landlord arrested for impregnating tenant’s teenage daughter The Ogun State Police Command said it had arrested a septuagenarian landlord, identified simply as Adesina, for allegedly defiling and impregnating his tenant’s 14-year-old girl (name withheld) at Akegbeyale Street in Ifesowapo Akute, Ifo Local Government Area of the state. PUNCH Metro learnt that the residents and other tenants were thrown into a state of shock when the septuagenarian suspect was found on Tuesday, April 9, 2024, having sexual intercourse with the 14-year-old girl at about 10:15 pm in the house bathroom. The minor, according to a police source who was part of the team that arrested the 71-year-old suspect but was not permitted to speak for the command, was said to have made her way to the apartment’s bathroom to take a shower.  Oyo and Ogun Courts Jail 16 Internet Fraudsters

Justices A.L. Akintola, O.A. Lajide, O.A. Adetujoye of the Oyo State High Court, sitting in Ibadan; Justice  B.B. Adebowale of the Ogun State High Court, Abeokuta and Justice Uche Agomoh of the Federal High Court, Ibadan have convicted and sentenced sixteen (16) internet fraudsters to different jail terms.

The convicts were jailed after pleading guilty to one- count separate charges upon their arraignment by the Ibadan Zonal Command of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC.

They are: Arode Opeyemi Amos, Babatunde Emmanuel Babalola, Oyewole Ayomilekan, Ephraim Isaiah Jonah, Ayedun Ayobami Adelani, Amusa Aminat Odunmide, Raji Eniola Al-Ameen, Ogundeyi Faruk Olamilekan, Abdullahi Adeshina Rasaq, Azeez Oluwaseun Bamidele, Moruf Olamilekan Elegbede, Olabisi Ibrahim Olamilekan, Jolaosho Uthman Olamilekan, Amod Kazeem Olayemi, Idemudia Lucky Edohamhem and Isogun Olamitan Nelson.

Namtira Bwala has threatened to file a lawsuit against the school authorities if her abusers are not punished within 48 hours. In a letter drafted by her lawyers, Deji Adeyanju and Co, Namtira asked the school authorities to immediately investigate and pronounce the stiffest punishments in the student’s rule book on Ms.Maryam Hassan, Miss Faliya, and nine other students who bullied her.
