 ACTDA BEGINS DESILTING OF DRAINAGES, WARNS AGAINST DEFAULTERS By: Ukpa Ewa As  rainy season gradually assumes its place, activities towards flood control by the Anambra State Government was in high tempo as the Awka Capital Territory Development Authority (ACTDA), begins massive desilting of drainages across Awka metropolis. Speaking to journalists in Awka during the exercise, the Managing Director of Awka Capital Territory Development Authority, Mr. Ossy Onuko said  the Agency was launching a one week intensive desilting of drainages along Ziks  Avenue in continuation of its operation clean and green campaign. According to the ACTDA boss, the agency carried out the cleaning of  7.5km drainages  to ensure that different areas across the city  were free of debris covering the flood channels.  Mr. Onuko who explained that the agency discovered that once it rains the whole place would be flooded, maintained that the agency was focusing on areas like Amaenyi, Majuo, Ichide, Igwebuike junc

Abby Hensel, one of the conjoined twins who gained fame on the TLC reality series “Abby & Brittany,” has married Josh Bowling, an U.S. Army veteran!


Abby and her twin sister Brittany, who are dicephalus conjoined twins sharing a torso and organs below the waist, work as fifth grade teachers in their home state of Minnesota. 


Their parents, Patty and Mike, decided against separating the twins at birth due to the low chances of both surviving the procedure, and raised them to believe they could achieve anything they set their minds to!


Congratulations to them!

He has requested the Court of Appeal, Lagos Division, to overturn the ruling of the Lagos State High Court, which sentenced him to five years in prison. Namtira Bwala has threatened to file a lawsuit against the school authorities if her abusers are not punished within 48 hours. In a letter drafted by her lawyers, Deji Adeyanju and Co, Namtira asked the school authorities to immediately investigate and pronounce the stiffest punishments in the student’s rule book on Ms.Maryam Hassan, Miss Faliya, and nine other students who bullied her.
