  President Bola Tinubu has identified the creative economy as a pivotal element of his administration’s economic diversification agenda, reaffirming his commitment to positioning Nigeria’s creative sector as a driving force for global influence. The President stated this at the launch of the 2024 Abuja International Carnival at Eagle Square, Abuja. President Tinubu, represented by Vice-President Kashim Shettima, said the carnival reaffirms the essence of who Nigerians are—”a people of culture, a people of art, a people of colour, and a people of shared values”. PRESIDENT TINUBU MOURNS FORMER KADUNA ADMINISTRATOR, ALHAJI ABBAS DABO SAMBO 



President Bola Ahmed Tinubu sympathizes with the family of the administrator of Kaduna Capital Territory in the 1960s, Alhaji Abbas Dabo Sambo, whose life was defined by service and dedication to nation building. 


The President condoles with all the leaders in the northern part of the country and other zones, who were mentored by the administrator of the former capital of the Northern Region, with the strong values of integrity and diligence.


President Tinubu acknowledges the deep sense of patriotism Alhaji Sambo brought into the service of the fatherland, from an early age until his retirement, extolling his sacrifices and fidelity to the cause of a progressive nation.


The President prays that God Almighty will grant the soul of the departed leader eternal rest and comfort his family in this time of mourning.
