 A priest in Anambra State wedded a couple yesterday, despite disputes with the bride’s father In a video circulating online, the Reverend Father narrated that The father of the bride who is from Nteje had insisted that the wedding should not take place unless his daughter swøre never to associate with his mother whom he has a quarrel with. The conflict arose from past marriage issues between the father and her mother. Before the wedding, the father repeatedly met with the priest, warning that he had already taken the bride's mother to a deity and that the girl must follow him to the shrine to appease that deity before the marriage can go on. For peace to prevail, the priest advised the couple to comply with all the father’s requests so the wedding could proceed, the priest even donated some of the items that the brides father told her to bring to use in appeasing the deity.  How my brother collapsed on a movie set” Sisi Quadri’s brother tearfully narrates how he died. The brother of late comic Yoruba actor, Tolani Quadri Oyebamiji popularly known as Sisi Quadri, has opened up on his death.

In an interview, he narrated how his brother died just a year after his mother died. He recounted how they were called on February 19th that Sisi Quadri had collapsed on a movie set, so one of their brothers picked him up from there.


He revealed that a day before the news, Sisi had sent money for his mother’s one-year remembrance to build a well and had constructed a borehole last year in honor of her.


His brother disclosed that Qaudri was taken to the hospital and they treated him for malaria, but he was discharged on the 26th. According to his brother, he was preparing to go to another movie location when they all joined forces together to pressure him to rest and recover fully.


Sisi Quadri’s brother further disclosed that on February 28, the unfortunate happened as he started having uncontrollable hiccups, which made them rush him to the hospital. Unfortunately, all medical attention on him proved abortive and he was transferred to LAUTECH, where he gave up the ghost.

 Tinubu announces arrival of 4 US attack helicopters President Bola Tinubu has stated that four attack helicopters will soon arrive in the country from the United States amid rising insecurity. Speaking at a meeting with a delegation of the Christian Association of Nigeria, led by its President, Archbishop Daniel Okoh, at his Lagos residence, on Friday, Dec. 26, Tinubu revealed that the Federal Government had ordered four attack helicopters from the U.S, adding that they will arrive in the country “soon”.
