Transfer: He was available ā€“ Gallas reveals player Chelsea made mistake not signing

Former Chelsea defender, William Gallas, has revealed that the Blues missed a great opportunity by not signing Cristiano Ronaldo during his free agency period after his release from Manchester United.

Although Ronaldo eventually joined the Saudi Pro League club Al-Nassr, Gallas believes that Chelsea would have been the ideal club for the former Real Madrid star.

With current summer signings Christopher Nkunku and Nicolas Jackson failing to establish themselves as reliable strikers, Gallas maintains that Ronaldoā€™s winning mentality and experience would have benefited the squad greatly.

Gallas considers it a mistake for Chelsea not to have signed the 39-year-old forward.
