 LASG ISSUES TRAFFIC ADVISORY AHEAD OF FANTI CARNIVAL The Lagos State Government has announced traffic diversions and restrictions ahead of the Lagos Fanti Carnival scheduled to hold on Monday, 6th April, 2026, around Tafawa Balewa Square (TBS), Lagos Island. In a bid to ensure a seamless and hitch-free carnival procession, vehicular movement will be restricted along major adjoining roads linking TBS. Affected Routes are; King George V Road (by Mobil Filling Station), Flag House inbound TBS, Force Road inbound TBS, Onikan Roundabout inbound TBS, and WaterBoy Roundabout by Old Defence House. Additionally, all link roads to Moloney Road, such as Military Road (by Old Defence Building), Ajasa Street, Boyle Street, and Hawley Street, will be closed to traffic during the event.  Why I want my daughter to marry at a young age like I did” Iyabo Ojo spills


Nollywood actress, Iyabo Ojo has revealed her desire for her daughter, Priscilla Ojo to get married at a young age.


The mother of two, while attending her daughter’s 23rd birthday bash on Wednesday evening, stated that she wants her daughter to get married early.


 Iyabo noted how she got married at a young age and had Priscilla at a young age. She wants her daughter to be like her so she can also grow with her children, like she is doing


The proud mother further stated that she is looking forward to Priscy getting married and having children as she noted how her daughter has done well for herself career and business-wise.


Iyabo further stated that Priscilla always avoids questions about marriage but she isn’t the type to put her child under pressure.

 Tinubu announces arrival of 4 US attack helicopters President Bola Tinubu has stated that four attack helicopters will soon arrive in the country from the United States amid rising insecurity. Speaking at a meeting with a delegation of the Christian Association of Nigeria, led by its President, Archbishop Daniel Okoh, at his Lagos residence, on Friday, Dec. 26, Tinubu revealed that the Federal Government had ordered four attack helicopters from the U.S, adding that they will arrive in the country “soon”. He said: “Our orders for four attack helicopters from the United States of America will take some time to arrive. We have approached Turkey for assistance.” The President, however, stated that the delays were affecting the public’s perception of the administration’s commitment to addressing the security challenges.
