 Court Jails 15 Internet Fraudsters in Benin City The Benin Zonal Command of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, on Monday and Tuesday, May 13 & May 14, 2024  secured the conviction of 15 internet fraudsters before Justices Efe Ikponmwonba and M. Itsueli of the Edo State High Court sitting in Benin City. The convicts are Sagay Favour, Efemini Kelvin Mudiaga, Izzi Evans, Okim Ekene, Jakpa Godspower and Lucky Alao SeyiEk.  Others are Adams Jarret, Mathew Ese, Oritsegbogwa Joseph, Joshua Lucky Ojabugbe, Emudiaga Akpojaro, Richard Promise, Aboh Daniel Bonfrey, Deniran Emmanuel Edafe and Orode Ovie. They were jailed after pleading guilty to one-count separate charge bordering on obtaining by false pretence, possession of fraudulent documents upon arraignment by the Benin Zonal Command of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC. 11-YEAR-OLD GIRL PASSED AWAY IN A HOUSE FIRE AFTER GOING BACK IN FOR HER DOG. (PHOTO).

 An 11-year-old Georgia girl passed away in house fire after going back in for her dog.


Katelyn Simond sadly passed away in a house fire on April 6th. When the family's home caught fire, the family was able to escape unharmed. 


However, once outside the home, Katelynn realized that her puppy was still upstairs.


Katelynn then ran back into the home and up the stairs never to return.


The house was fully engulfed in flames when Spalding County Firefighters arrived and they were not able to save Katelynn.  One firefighter was injured in an attempt and was taken to the hospital for treatment.


Katelynn's family is absolutely devastated and struggling with the tragic loss of a girl they described as, "a joy of life".

He has requested the Court of Appeal, Lagos Division, to overturn the ruling of the Lagos State High Court, which sentenced him to five years in prison.  Punish my abusers within 48 hours or face lawsuit - Student bullied by her classmates threaten school authorities The bullied student of British Lead International School, Miss. Namtira Bwala has threatened to file a lawsuit against the school authorities if her abusers are not punished within 48 hours. In a letter drafted by her lawyers, Deji Adeyanju and Co, Namtira asked the school authorities to immediately investigate and pronounce the stiffest punishments in the student’s rule book on Ms.Maryam Hassan, Miss Faliya, and nine other students who bullied her.
