Kaduna businessman drags ex fiancee’s father to court, demands dowry refund A businessman, Nasiru Dayyabu, on Wednesday, dragged the father of his ex-fiance, Mallam Sani Direba, to Shari’a Court II sitting at Magajin Gari, Kaduna over N260,000 dowry. The complainant had joined Direba in the suit against two brothers demanding a refund of N250, 000 dowry and N10,000 introduction money he paid to marry his daughter. Represented by his counsel, Mr Sani Sunusi, the complainant told the court that he sent his people from Karaye, Kano State to Kaduna in 2025, to seek for the defendant’s daughter’s hand in marriage. “We paid the dowry and the introduction money (kudin gausuwa) and were waiting for them to set a date for the wedding,” he said. “Unfortunately, the lady’s father called to inform us that they have cancelled the marriage.” The counsel said the complainant had asked for the refund of his money since Sept. 2025 but all the efforts he made proved abortive.  Anambra Police Commissioner  Confers With Dike Ochioha 1 Of Ogbunka Kingdom

The outgoing Commissioner of Police, Anambra State Police Command, CP Aderemi Adeoye has been conferred with a chieftaincy title in Anambra community.


The chieftaincy title, Dike Ochioha 1 was bestowed on him by the Traditional Ruler of Ogbunka Kingdom in Orumba South LGA of Anambra State, HRH Igwe J.M. Anyaoha following the approval of Anambra State Government for the conferment of Chieftaincy title on the Commissioner.


The event which held on Sunday, April 28, equally witnessed the conferment of Ada Eji Ejemba 1 on the commissioner’s wife, Mrs. Bolanle Adeoye.


Recall that CP Aderemi will be retiring from Nigeria Police Force on May 1 this year, having served in the Force for 35 years and  several activities have been lined up to mark his official disengagement from Service, part of which was the Pull Out Parade held in his honour at the Alex Ekwueme Square over the weekend.

Innoson Gives Out Brand New IVM G5 and Salary For Life To The Man Who Prophesied About His Vehicle Manufacturing In 1979.  Last Saturday, July 22nd the Chairman of Innoson Vehicle Manufacturing Company Ltd, Chief Dr Innocent Ifediaso Chukwuma OFR gave out a brand new Innoson IVM G5 to Mr Ikechukwu Osakwe popularly known as Osabros who prophesied to him in 1979 that he would be the first man in Africa to manufacture vehicles and sell to different African countries.  The prophecy was given at the period the then Innocent Chukwuma could not boast of a car, talk less of manufacturing one.
