 NUT Protest : Wike Warns Against Politicising Insecurity The Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Nyesom Wike, has warned against politicising insecurity amid protests by the Nigeria Union of Teachers, FCT wing, over the killing and abduction of school staff and children in Oyo State. Teachers stormed the FCTA Secretariat in Abuja to condemn the killing of Michael Oyedokun and to demand the release of abducted pupils and teachers from Community High School, Ahoro-Esinle in Oriire Local Government Area. The FCT minister addressed the protesters on Tuesday, saying the federal government is on its toes working to secure the rescue of the schoolchildren and their teachers. Wike urged protesters to avoid turning the tragedy into a political issue and to give security efforts time to produce results.  Ruthless Arsenal inflict heaviest season defeat on Chelsea


Ruthless Arsenal inflicted the heaviest defeat on Chelsea this season at the Emirates Stadium on Tuesday to hold on to top spot in the premier league.

The Gunners demolished Chelsea 5-0 in a five-star performance, converting five of their 10 shots on target.

Arsenal opened the scoring four minutes into the game. Declan Rice played a pass to the feet of Leandro Trossard, and he shot into the bottom left corner from inside the box.

Few minutes into the second half, Arsenal doubled their lead. Ben White fired the rebound into the bottom left corner after the ball broke to him in the box.

In the 57th minute, Martin Odegaard slipped a clever pass through to Kai Havertz, who moved inside the box and sent a measured shot beyond the keeper and into the roof of the net to make it 3-0.

In the 68th minute, Bukayo Saka passed the ball into the penalty area. Havertz collected it and quickly sent it into the bottom right corner via the post for the fourth goal.

Arsenal completed their humiliation of Chelsea five minutes later. Ben White showed good composure inside the box to fire a first-time shot into the top left corner to make it 5-0.
