 LASG REAFFIRMS COMMITMENT TO END TUBERCULOSIS IN COMMUNITIES IN LAGOS STATE The Lagos State Government on Tuesday reaffirmed its commitment to completely eradicate Tuberculosis (TB) at the grassroots level across the metropolis.  The Permanent Secretary, Lagos State Health District III, Dr. Monsurat Adeleke made this known during a courtesy visit by the Institute of Human Virology, Nigeria team to her Ikoyi office, emphasising the present administration's commitment to continually prioritise health security across the state. She said the Lagos State First Lady, Dr. (Mrs.) Claudiana Sanwo-Olu, is a Tuberculosis (TB) champion with the mandate of ending TB now and the continuous expansion of TB scale-up diagnostic centres.  According to her, “The First Lady of Lagos State, Dr. (Mrs.) Claudiana Sanwo-Olu is a TB champion.  AY's divorce: 'Broken marriage an opportunity for growth' - Charly Boy


Renowned Nigerian singer, Charles Oputa, popularly known as Charly Boy or Area Fada, has shared his view on comedian Ayo Makun’s, also known as AY, recent divorce.

Through his Instagram platform, Charly Boy urged people to refrain from harsh judgment towards AY, emphasizing that not all divorces signify failure in marriage.

He stressed that such experiences can instead be opportunities for personal growth and discovery.

Charly Boy further remarked that enduring a 20-year marriage like AY and Mabel’s is no small feat, implying admiration for their commitment despite the eventual separation.

“Abegi make una leave AY alone. It is not always true that a broken marriage is a reflection of failure, but rather an opportunity for growth and self-discovery.
