 WOMAN CRIES FOR HELP AFTER HUSBAND ALLEGEDLY ABANDONED HER IN A LAGOS HOSPITAL AND 'USED MONEY FOR HER CS TO BUY A PHONE AND DOG' A new mum has cried out for help after her husband allegedly abandoned her at the Alimoshso General Hospital in Igando, Lagos State. The newlywed explained that she got pregnant shortly after their wedding and as her due date approached, she developed severe pain and breathlessness and was taken to the hospital where doctors told her she would have to give birth via cesarean section, CS. She said her husband objected and told doctors to discharge her. She alleged that when they got home, he bought herbal concoction for her and asked her to drink it to help her give birth naturally. She said her pain intensified after drinking it and she was rushed to the hospital for the surgery. She cried out for help on Facebook and a kind Nigerian sent her N500,000. COURT CONTEMPT: The National Security Adviser(NSA), Malam Nuhu Ribadu, Intercedes for Malam Idriss with emphasis on peaceful coexistence


It can be recalled that, on 5th February 2024, the Bauchi State Police Command declared the renowned Islamic cleric, Malam Idriss Abdulaziz Dutsen Tanshi wanted, gazetted for contempt of court. Such action is hereby suspended. However, today on 8th April, 2024, Commissioner of Police Bauchi State Command CP Auwal Musa Mohammad, psc, in his effort and dedication to promoting peaceful coexistence and harmonious relations among the figures in the State, spearheaded a peace pact between Malam Idriss Abdulaziz and the Government of Bauchi State at the Police State headquarters. The peace pact was signed and witnessed by the Director, Department of State Security Services (DSS), the Commandant Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), and the Attorney General and Commissioner of Justice, Bauchi state.


The Commissioner of Police as the Chairman of the Security and Allied Agency in Bauchi State, resolved to ensure that the communication gap that was identified as the causative agent among others responsible for deteriorating the relationship between the parties would be addressed without hesitation. He expressed his unequivocal appreciation to the Executive Governor of Bauchi State Sen. BALA MOHAMMED ABDULKADIR, CON, (KAURAN BAUCHI) for honouring the call of NSA and other relevant stakeholders for the peace accord and maintained that, the written commitment that was signed would be judiciously observed by the parties concerned.


Malam Idris Abdulaziz Dutsen Tanshi should understand that while he enjoys the right to freedom of speech, he should not use the pulpit as a platform to insult or make derogatory and abusive statements against preachers/clerics. He should strive to foster an atmosphere of peace and harmony within the community through his preaching, regardless of differences in opinion or religious beliefs. It is, therefore, imperative that he respects constituted authority henceforth


We hope that this marks the beginning of a new era of cooperation and understanding in Bauchi State.

Namtira Bwala has threatened to file a lawsuit against the school authorities if her abusers are not punished within 48 hours. In a letter drafted by her lawyers, Deji Adeyanju and Co, Namtira asked the school authorities to immediately investigate and pronounce the stiffest punishments in the student’s rule book on Ms.Maryam Hassan, Miss Faliya, and nine other students who bullied her.
