 Dutch referee Rob Dieperink dies weeks after removal from World Cup officiating list Dutch referee Rob Dieperink has died at the age of 38, weeks after FIFA removed him from its list of officials for the World Cup. The Dutch Football Association (KNVB) confirmed his death in a statement, saying it was “shocked and deeply saddened” by the news. His cause of death has not been disclosed. Dieperink was arrested in April by the Metropolitan Police in the United Kingdom following a report of an alleged sexual assault involving a teenage boy in London. A Metropolitan Police spokesperson said officers responded on April 9 to a report of sexual assault at an address in Croydon and arrested a man in his 30s on suspicion of the offence. Police later said that after reviewing available evidence, including CCTV footage and digital devices, the investigation had concluded that “the evidential threshold had not been met” and no further action would be taken.  Funke Akindele mourns Aderounmu Adejumoke


Nollywood actress and movie producer Funke Ankidele took to Instagram to mourn the loss of Aderounmu Adejumoke, who reportedly passed on the 6th of April, 2024. She made a brief repost from someone’s page, where the details of Adejumoke’s burial was posted. In addition, Funke Akindele wrote, “Sad!!! Rest well Jumoke”.


Funke Akindele’s post clearly didn’t sit well with Aderounmu Adejumoke’s brother, as he called her out for being pretentious and showing fake love, as earlier reported by Kemi Filani.


There has been no response so far from Funke Akindele regarding the allegations leveraged against her


Aderounmu Adejumoke and Funke Akindele worked together on the series Jennifer’s Diary, and she appeared in a lot of episodes.


The cause of Aderounmu Adejumoke’s death remains largely unknown, and the family hasn’t come out to explain her cause of death. It seems the family intends to keep everything private, as there was no official announcement on her page.
