 A priest in Anambra State wedded a couple yesterday, despite disputes with the bride’s father In a video circulating online, the Reverend Father narrated that The father of the bride who is from Nteje had insisted that the wedding should not take place unless his daughter swøre never to associate with his mother whom he has a quarrel with. The conflict arose from past marriage issues between the father and her mother. Before the wedding, the father repeatedly met with the priest, warning that he had already taken the bride's mother to a deity and that the girl must follow him to the shrine to appease that deity before the marriage can go on. For peace to prevail, the priest advised the couple to comply with all the father’s requests so the wedding could proceed, the priest even donated some of the items that the brides father told her to bring to use in appeasing the deity.  Funke Akindele mourns Aderounmu Adejumoke


Nollywood actress and movie producer Funke Ankidele took to Instagram to mourn the loss of Aderounmu Adejumoke, who reportedly passed on the 6th of April, 2024. She made a brief repost from someone’s page, where the details of Adejumoke’s burial was posted. In addition, Funke Akindele wrote, “Sad!!! Rest well Jumoke”.


Funke Akindele’s post clearly didn’t sit well with Aderounmu Adejumoke’s brother, as he called her out for being pretentious and showing fake love, as earlier reported by Kemi Filani.


There has been no response so far from Funke Akindele regarding the allegations leveraged against her


Aderounmu Adejumoke and Funke Akindele worked together on the series Jennifer’s Diary, and she appeared in a lot of episodes.


The cause of Aderounmu Adejumoke’s death remains largely unknown, and the family hasn’t come out to explain her cause of death. It seems the family intends to keep everything private, as there was no official announcement on her page.

 Tinubu announces arrival of 4 US attack helicopters President Bola Tinubu has stated that four attack helicopters will soon arrive in the country from the United States amid rising insecurity. Speaking at a meeting with a delegation of the Christian Association of Nigeria, led by its President, Archbishop Daniel Okoh, at his Lagos residence, on Friday, Dec. 26, Tinubu revealed that the Federal Government had ordered four attack helicopters from the U.S, adding that they will arrive in the country “soon”.
