 Dutch referee Rob Dieperink dies weeks after removal from World Cup officiating list Dutch referee Rob Dieperink has died at the age of 38, weeks after FIFA removed him from its list of officials for the World Cup. The Dutch Football Association (KNVB) confirmed his death in a statement, saying it was “shocked and deeply saddened” by the news. His cause of death has not been disclosed. Dieperink was arrested in April by the Metropolitan Police in the United Kingdom following a report of an alleged sexual assault involving a teenage boy in London. A Metropolitan Police spokesperson said officers responded on April 9 to a report of sexual assault at an address in Croydon and arrested a man in his 30s on suspicion of the offence. Police later said that after reviewing available evidence, including CCTV footage and digital devices, the investigation had concluded that “the evidential threshold had not been met” and no further action would be taken. HERO POLICE DOG RESCUES MISSING 3-YEAR-OLD IN FLORIDA. (PHOTO).

 Hero police dog rescues missing 3-year-old in Florida. 


The missing boy was reported to police at around 11:30 a.m. on March 29th. In a very short time a massive search was underway, using all available assets.


One asset however was up to the task and performed like a champ. With just a whiff of the child's blanket, Midnight (a police search dog) was off into the woods. His handler Corporal Clark couldn't keep up through the thick vegetation. Clark stated, "he was dragging me through the woods like he just wasn't going to stop." 


Clark noticed Midnight was cutting himself up while making his way through the thick undergrowth. He realized Midnight was going to get there much faster on his own and he let him go.


By the time Corporal Clark caught up to Midnight he was licking the little boys face and excitedly wiggling all around the young child. 

Clark says Midnight looked up at him as if to say, "hey I got it, here it is."


The toddler was quickly returned to his anxious parents and officers on scene gifted him a teddy bear.


Great job Midnight, such a good boy!
