 Family and neighbors mourn woman shot by ICE agent after making Minneapolis her home  Before she was fatally shot by a U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement officer, 37-year-old Renee Good had just dropped her youngest child off at an elementary school in Minneapolis, the city she and her family had recently begun to call home. As Trump administration officials continued Thursday to describe Good as a domestic terrorist who tried to ram federal agents with her Honda Pilot, those who knew her remembered someone very different: a gentle, kind, and openhearted mother, wife, and neighbor. Good, her wife and her 6-year-old son had recently moved from Kansas City, Missouri, to a quiet Minneapolis neighborhood lined with older homes and small apartment buildings.  Junior Pope: Actors Guild Sets Up Safety Committee For Members


The President, Actors Guild of Nigeria,  Emeka Rollas, has set up a committee to enhance the safety and welfare of members.


This development follows the boat accident, which claimed the lives of five film practitioners, including popular actor, Junior Pope, on Wednesday.

"In every society there are BUILDERS, DWELLERS AND DESTROYERS. Its important one identifies where one belongs. Over the years in Nollywood many ACTORS have been beaten to submission which is why you find many ACTORS who have featured in over 200 hundred movies and still counting roaming the streets depressed, sick and homeless whereas there counterparts in other parts of the world are reaping the benefits of thier craft.

Today, we have carefully selected these established members to join the BUILDERS category and change this narrative in Nollywood and their names will be written in GOLD in the chronicles of Nollywood.

On behalf of the Board of Trustees, National Executive council and the entire membership of the Actors Guild of Nigeria I wish them well in Jesus name.

 Tinubu announces arrival of 4 US attack helicopters President Bola Tinubu has stated that four attack helicopters will soon arrive in the country from the United States amid rising insecurity. Speaking at a meeting with a delegation of the Christian Association of Nigeria, led by its President, Archbishop Daniel Okoh, at his Lagos residence, on Friday, Dec. 26, Tinubu revealed that the Federal Government had ordered four attack helicopters from the U.S, adding that they will arrive in the country “soon”. He said: “Our orders for four attack helicopters from the United States of America will take some time to arrive. We have approached Turkey for assistance.” The President, however, stated that the delays were affecting the public’s perception of the administration’s commitment to addressing the security challenges.
