 Nicole Kidman recalls the heartbreaking moment she found out her mom died Nicole Kidman has opened up about the heartbreaking moment she learned of her mother Janelle’s death just as she was about to accept a best actress award at the Venice International Film Festival.  The Babygirl star recalled being backstage when she received the news, saying she returned to her room “completely devastated” and unsure how she would move forward without her mother, who had been such a central part of her life. She described the “harrowing” attempt to leave Venice in the middle of the night to return to Australia, only to turn back, overwhelmed and alone.  Director Halina Reijn later read a statement on Kidman’s behalf, dedicating the award to Janelle and acknowledging the collision of art and life in that painful moment.  Nigerian Singer, Korra Obidi Suffers Knee!fe, Ac!s Att^ack During Live-Streaming In UK


Ms Korra Obidi, a popular Nigerian singer and dancer, has revealed how she was attacked with knife and acid while on live-streaming.


The attack, the mother of two said, happened in the United Kingdom, in a post shared on her Instagram page on Thursday.


According to her, the attacker was a black woman that is five-foot-tall, and stressed that she has been a target of hateful remarks in the past, noting that the physical assault is a wake-up call.


“Currently in an ambulance to the hospital, there was a knife, acid attack on me in the UK in the middle of a live stream," she explained. "There’s been a lot of hate in the past but this physical assault is a wake up call."
