Okuzu Akanato Elects Electoral Officer By Uzo Ugwunze As Oba community begins afresh the process of searching for who will occupy the revered throne of Oba as the EzeOkpoko II after the former selection/election process with its dismal show that lasted for years was jettisoned by the new town union administration led by Mr Uzo Ejiofor with the claims that the process did not adhere to the constitution, more Okuzu Akanato sons have declared interest for the Igweship race amidst cheers and boo. The Okuzu sons declared their interest to contest for the EzeOkpoko II during a crucial meeting which held recently at Okuzu hall where Mr. Chinonye Ononye emerged winner as the Okuzu Akanato Igweship selection/election Electoral Officer with 177 votes over Mr. Nonso Anigbogu who polled 14 votes.  Men Are Crazy But We Can’t Do Without Them’ – Tiwa Savage


Nigerian singer Tiwa Savage has said despite the “crazy” nature of men, women can’t do without them.


Savage, who recently released a collaborative song with Simi titled ‘Men Are Crazy,’ said she relished working with the ‘Duduke’ crooner.


Speaking recently on MTV Live, she described their collaboration as “magical” as she noted that Simi is “a queen in Afrobeats”.


She said, “My collaboration with Simi is titled ‘Men Are Crazy But I Still Want One In My Bed.’ The inspiration behind it is that men are crazy but we can’t do without them.


“Simi is somebody that I’ve always wanted to work with. She is a queen in Afrobeats so both of us coming together on such an amazing track is magical.”

 Actor Baba Ijesha appeals five-year jail sentence for sexual assault Nollywood actor Olanrewaju James, known as Baba Ijesha, has filed an appeal against his conviction for the sexual assault of a minor. He has requested the Court of Appeal, Lagos Division, to overturn the ruling of the Lagos State High Court, which sentenced him to five years in prison. The conviction was handed down by Justice Oluwatoyin Taiwo (retd.) of the Ikeja Domestic Violence and Sexual Offences Court on July 14, 2022 to Baba Ijesha.  Punish my abusers within 48 hours or face lawsuit - Student bullied by her classmates threaten school authorities The bullied student of British Lead International School, Miss. Namtira Bwala has threatened to file a lawsuit against the school authorities if her abusers are not punished within 48 hours. In a letter drafted by her lawyers, Deji Adeyanju and Co, Namtira asked the school authorities to immediately investigate and pronounce the stiffest punishments in the student’s rule book on Ms.Maryam Hassan, Miss Faliya, and nine other students who bullied her.
