 Dutch referee Rob Dieperink dies weeks after removal from World Cup officiating list Dutch referee Rob Dieperink has died at the age of 38, weeks after FIFA removed him from its list of officials for the World Cup. The Dutch Football Association (KNVB) confirmed his death in a statement, saying it was “shocked and deeply saddened” by the news. His cause of death has not been disclosed. Dieperink was arrested in April by the Metropolitan Police in the United Kingdom following a report of an alleged sexual assault involving a teenage boy in London. A Metropolitan Police spokesperson said officers responded on April 9 to a report of sexual assault at an address in Croydon and arrested a man in his 30s on suspicion of the offence. Police later said that after reviewing available evidence, including CCTV footage and digital devices, the investigation had concluded that “the evidential threshold had not been met” and no further action would be taken.  My parents wrongly portrayed in TV show, 2baba’s daughter laments


Isabel Idibia, daughter of global singer 2baba, has expressed dissatisfaction over her parents participation on a TV show, ‘Young, Famous, and African‘. 

According to the 15-year-old, she didn’t like the way they were depicted.

She said the way they were portrayed was completely incorrect and when she attempted to defend them, she was labelled a kid.

Isabel further stated that she knows them more than others since they lived in the same family, while netizens only acquire their information from the internet or social media.

Annie Idibia’s daughter In a video, she said: “I don’t like the way my parents were portrayed in Young, Famous and African, the way they were portrayed was just so wrong. Whenever I try to back my parents up and say that’s not what happened everyone is like ‘how would you know? You’re just a child’ How would you know? 

“You’re not in my family, your knowledge is based on stuff that you see on Safari, Instagram and social media. I know it because I’ve been in the household with my parents. 

“I can’t change everyone’s perspective on social media because they will always think what they want to think but they will never know the actual true story or background of anything that has ever happened in my family or anything that has happened before I was even born. I don’t like the way my parents were portrayed, it wasn’t the best image and it wasn’t completely accurate.”
