The Government categorically refutes claims of lopsidedness and emphasizes its unwavering commitment to the principles of fairness, equity, and national unity. All appointments are made in strict adherence to federal character principle, as enshrined in Section 14 of the Constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, 1999 (as Altered).  NIGERIAN ARMY TROOPS DESTROY NOTORIOUS TERRORIST'S KINGPIN's DEN IN ZAMFARA, NEUTRALIZE TERRORIST



Nigerian Army troops deployed  for Counter Terrorism Counter Insurgency operations have raided the den of a notorious terrorist kingpin known as Yellow Janbros at Dangunu Village in Maru Local Government Area  of Zamfara State, resulting in the elimination of a terrorist and recovery of fire arm. 


During the operation on 8 April 2024, troops successfully attacked the den of the notorious terrorists  responsible for kidnappings and other acts of terrorism in parts of North West Nigeria. The troops overpowered and dislodged the terrorists and neutralized one of them. The gallant troops also recovered one AK- 47 Rifle, One AK-47 Magazine, 30 rounds of 7.62 mm Special and one hundred and fifty bags of stolen grains . The terrorists' enclave have been completely destroyed.


The Nigerian Army remains committed mitigating security challenges and will leave no stone unturned to rid the nation of terrorists and insurgents.

 Actor Baba Ijesha appeals five-year jail sentence for sexual assault Nollywood actor Olanrewaju James, known as Baba Ijesha, has filed an appeal against his conviction for the sexual assault of a minor. He has requested the Court of Appeal, Lagos Division, to overturn the ruling of the Lagos State High Court, which sentenced him to five years in prison. The conviction was handed down by Justice Oluwatoyin Taiwo (retd.) of the Ikeja Domestic Violence and Sexual Offences Court on July 14, 2022 to Baba Ijesha. Baba Ijesha through his counsel Kayode Olabiran on Tuesday, told the appeal court that his client was set up and that he acted according to a script that he was invited to act on by his colleague. “The Appellant was set up.
