 WOMAN CRIES FOR HELP AFTER HUSBAND ALLEGEDLY ABANDONED HER IN A LAGOS HOSPITAL AND 'USED MONEY FOR HER CS TO BUY A PHONE AND DOG' A new mum has cried out for help after her husband allegedly abandoned her at the Alimoshso General Hospital in Igando, Lagos State. The newlywed explained that she got pregnant shortly after their wedding and as her due date approached, she developed severe pain and breathlessness and was taken to the hospital where doctors told her she would have to give birth via cesarean section, CS. She said her husband objected and told doctors to discharge her. She alleged that when they got home, he bought herbal concoction for her and asked her to drink it to help her give birth naturally. She said her pain intensified after drinking it and she was rushed to the hospital for the surgery. She cried out for help on Facebook and a kind Nigerian sent her N500,000.  NNPP Suspends Kano State Governor, Abba Yusuf



The Board of Trustees of the New Nigeria People's Party,NNPP, has suspended the Governor of Kano state, Abba Yusuf for six months over alleged involvement in anti party activities.


National Secretary of the party, Comrade Oginni Olaposi Sunday disclosed this on Tuesday at the party’s headquarters in Abuja.


He said the suspension of the governor was a culmination of a recent invitation extended to him to appear before a disciplinary committee to explain infractions on the party constitution which he refused to appear.


Oginni also disclosed that Gov Yusuf was expected to appear before the committee to explain why he participated in an illegal/factional national convention organised by the Kwankwasiya group at Class Event Center in Wuse, Abuja on April 6, 2024.


He further explained that, in accordance with Article 39.0, 39(1-4) on disciplinary procedures of the party, His Excellency Abba Yusuf was availed with an unfettered opportunity to explore all openings to resolve the issues being investigated as stipulated therein in relation to allegations of gross misconduct brought against him, but  he failed to take advantage of the opportunity by not appearing.

Namtira Bwala has threatened to file a lawsuit against the school authorities if her abusers are not punished within 48 hours. In a letter drafted by her lawyers, Deji Adeyanju and Co, Namtira asked the school authorities to immediately investigate and pronounce the stiffest punishments in the student’s rule book on Ms.Maryam Hassan, Miss Faliya, and nine other students who bullied her.
