 PRESIDENT TINUBU CONGRATULATES MINISTER OF STATE FOR FOREIGN AFFAIRS AMBASSADOR ENIKANOLAIYE ON HIS BIRTHDAY   President Bola Tinubu has congratulated the Minister of State for Foreign Affairs, Ambassador Sola Enikanolaiye, on his birthday.    A statement by Bayo Onanuga, Special Adviser to the President, Information and Strategy, indicates that the President describes Ambassador Enikanolaiye as a distinguished diplomat, accomplished administrator and dedicated public servant whose career reflects professionalism, patriotism and a deep commitment to Nigeria.   Ambassador Enikanolaiye served in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs from August 1982 to August 2017, rising through the ranks to become Permanent Secretary.  Rivers bad weather, cause of flights cancellation- Arik Air


Arik Air has clarified that the incident that resulted in stranded passengers at Port Harcourt Airport on April 2 was due to adverse weather conditions.


The airline gave the explanation in a statement signed by its Public Relations Manager, Adebanji Ola, on Thursday.


Recently, viral videos showed passengers of Arik Air expressing frustration for being left stranded at Port Harcourt Airport after their flight to Lagos was cancelled.


The affected passengers, scheduled for a flight from Port Harcourt in Rivers State to Lagos State, took to social media platforms to share their grievances.
