 Chawai Community Appeals To Gov. Uba Sani For Relief, Medical Support After Deadly Kauru Attack The people of Chawai Chiefdom in Kauru Local Government Area of Kaduna State have appealed to Governor Uba Sani to provide urgent relief and medical assistance to victims of the deadly attack on Naridon village in Kamaru Ward. In an open letter addressed to the governor, the community commended his leadership, describing his administration as inclusive and fair. They said this had given residents confidence that every community in the state is valued. The community, however, expressed concern over what it described as the lack of government intervention following the attack on Naridon village, in which it said 30 people were killed. According to the letter, many survivors and families of the victims are still struggling with grief, trauma, displacement, and the challenges of caring for those injured in the attack. He wrote: “Most times, the best way to help your family is to turn your back on incessant monetary demands from them and focus on building yourself to the point where you are in a position to render sustainable help without crippling yourself. 


The most common mistake most people make which has kept many in stagnant financial position is trying to attend to every family need even when they themselves could barely solve their own needs. That way, both the one trying to help and the family they are trying to help end up remaining in poverty.


I'm sure many of us can relate to this.


I DID NOT say you shouldn't help your family ooo. I said, don't try to solve every family problem when you are still struggling financially.”
