 Hajj 2025: Ogun Govt Appoints Apelogun as Amirul Hajj, Announces Welfare Committee Members The Ogun State Muslim Pilgrims Board has announced the appointment of Prince Adebayo Apelogun, the National President of the Amalgamated Commercial Tricycle and Motorcycle Owners, Repairs and Riders Association of Nigeria (ACOMORAN), as the Amirul Hajj for the 2025 Hajj exercise. He will lead a 14-member ad-hoc welfare committee tasked with facilitating a smooth and successful pilgrimage to the Holy Land for the state’s contingent. Prince Apelogun, who also holds the revered titles of Asiwaju Adinni of Ogun State and Baba Adinni of Remo, will lead the committee, with Shaekh Ishaq Olorungbebe serving as chairman.  You can't claim to come from poor background at 30 - Tonto Dikeh advises


Actress and media personality Tonto Dikeh has taken to her Instagram page to offer thought-provoking reflections on individuals aged 30 and above.

In her post, she shared that the moment a person gets to 30 years of age, they can no longer freely state that they are from a poor background.

Tonto revealed that someone saying that they are from a poor background officially ends once a person clocks 30.

Tonto went on to reinforce the fact that once you get to 30, you are now the poor background.

She said this while sharing adorable pictures of herself in beautiful green lace material.

 Actor Baba Ijesha appeals five-year jail sentence for sexual assault Nollywood actor Olanrewaju James, known as Baba Ijesha, has filed an appeal against his conviction for the sexual assault of a minor. He has requested the Court of Appeal, Lagos Division, to overturn the ruling of the Lagos State High Court, which sentenced him to five years in prison. The conviction was handed down by Justice Oluwatoyin Taiwo (retd.) of the Ikeja Domestic Violence and Sexual Offences Court on July 14, 2022 to Baba Ijesha. Baba Ijesha through his counsel Kayode Olabiran on Tuesday, told the appeal court that his client was set up and that he acted according to a script that he was invited to act on by his colleague. “The Appellant was set up.
