 HOUSE OF REPS URGES EXECUTIVE ON MTEF The House of Representatives has urged the Executive to submit the 2027–2029 Medium-Term Expenditure Framework (MTEF) to the National Assembly ahead of the presentation of the 2027 Appropriation Bill for consideration. Speaker of the House, Abbas Tajudeen, made the request while outlining the legislative priorities of the 10th Assembly as it enters the final year of its tenure. The statement listed the conclusion of the Constitution alteration process, as well as the consideration and passage of the expected Medium-Term Expenditure Framework and Fiscal Strategy Paper, among the priorities. The Speaker also read several executive communications on the floor of the House, including President Bola Tinubu’s request for approval of a promissory note programme to reimburse the Yobe State Government with One Hundred point Five Billion Naira for the takeover of the Muhammadu Buhari International Cargo Airport in Damaturu. A YOUNG MAN ALLEGEDLY COMMITTED SUICIDE IN MAKURDI, BENUE STATE. (PHOTO).

 A young man allegedly committed suicide in Makurdi, Benue State. He was said to have opened the gate leading to the electric transformer and lay on it when he was electrocuted. 


According to eyewitnesses, the young man had demanded to see his mother or he would kill himself. Many thought it was a joke, but after several minutes, he willfully did the unthinkable by forcing himself into the electric transformer at the Kanshio axis of Makurdi.

Innoson Gives Out Brand New IVM G5 and Salary For Life To The Man Who Prophesied About His Vehicle Manufacturing In 1979.  Last Saturday, July 22nd the Chairman of Innoson Vehicle Manufacturing Company Ltd, Chief Dr Innocent Ifediaso Chukwuma OFR gave out a brand new Innoson IVM G5 to Mr Ikechukwu Osakwe popularly known as Osabros who prophesied to him in 1979 that he would be the first man in Africa to manufacture vehicles and sell to different African countries.  The prophecy was given at the period the then Innocent Chukwuma could not boast of a car, talk less of manufacturing one.
