 COURT RESTRAINS RESIDENT DOCTORS FROM EMBARKING ON STRIKE  The national industrial court Abuja division has restrained all members and agents of the national association of resident doctors from calling, directing, organizing, participating in, and embarking upon any form of industrial action.  Justice Emmanuel Danjuma Subilim gave the order in an interim injunction filed by the federal government through the office of the attorney general of the federation and minister of justice.  The court temporally barred members of the association from embarking on any form of strike, work stoppages, go-slows, picketing, or any other form of industrial protest or disruption. The association is equally restrained from taking steps preparatory to any form of industrial action from the 12th day of january, 2026.  ANAMBRA POLICE ARREST MOST WANTED ARMED ROBBER/CULTIST, RECOVER SUSPECTED ASSAILANT OPERATIONAL VEHICLE, AMMUNITION AND OTHER INCRIMINATING ITEMS



_As CP Itam restates Commitment to sustain Police onslaught Operations and Security/Safety dominance in the State_


The Policing plan and model on Practical Intelligence, Technology-driven, and Tactical Operations already placed by the Commissioner of Police *CP Nnaghe Obono Itam*, has paid off, following the arrest on 17/5/2024 of a notorious and most wanted Cultist and Armed robber in Uruagu village, Oba, Idemili South LGA.


The suspect, Anichede Akachukwu ‘M’ 18 years A.K.A Star B is a Confessed leader of Vikings Secret Cult Confraternity and Armed Gang terrorizing Ogbaru LGA and Asaba in Delta State. His arrest is following a tip-off of intelligence gathered as he was receiving treatment in their den from a bullet wound sustained in their encounter with Police Operatives in Asaba. The suspects have provided Police with information on their mode of Operations and names of other gang members which is already aiding the ongoing investigation. 


Also, Police on 20/05/2024 in Okija, Ihiala recovered a white Porsche Cayenne Jeep with Reg Nos: AGL 60 HJ Lagos suspected to be Operational vehicle of the secessionists, operating in Ihiala. During a search of the vehicle, the operatives found a bag and discovered Twenty-Seven pieces of  live 7.62m Ammunition, Three live cartridges, one-touch light, charms, and other incriminating items


To this end, the *CP* has charged the Operatives to sustain the tempo and direct continuous onslaught Operations aimed to weed out all the criminal elements and reduce crime to the barest minimum in the State.

 Tinubu announces arrival of 4 US attack helicopters President Bola Tinubu has stated that four attack helicopters will soon arrive in the country from the United States amid rising insecurity. Speaking at a meeting with a delegation of the Christian Association of Nigeria, led by its President, Archbishop Daniel Okoh, at his Lagos residence, on Friday, Dec. 26, Tinubu revealed that the Federal Government had ordered four attack helicopters from the U.S, adding that they will arrive in the country “soon”. He said: “Our orders for four attack helicopters from the United States of America will take some time to arrive.
