 Anambra Government Reaffirms Mega City Drive, Demolishes Scores of Illegal Structures By Ruth Orji  The Anambra State Government has reaffirmed its commitment to the ongoing regeneration drive and restoration of sanity across the state through enforcement exercises and demolition of illegal structures statewide. The exercise was led by the Commissioner for Physical Planning and Urban Development, Barrister Chijioke Ojukwu, on July 8, in line with the Physical Planning Law of Anambra State. Stating that it is no longer business as usual, the commissioner urged residents to take every notice received from the ministry seriously and comply promptly with planning regulations henceforth. He, however, said several eviction notices had been served but were taken with a pinch of salt, adding that demolitions followed because structures defaced the environment or obstructed pedestrian walkways. EFCC ARRESTS 40 SUSPECTED INTERNET FRAUDSTERS IN ABUJA.(PHOTOS).#PRESS RELEASE

 EFCC Arrests 40 Suspected Internet Fraudsters in Abuja

 

Operatives of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, on Friday, May 31, 2024 arrested 40 suspected internet fraudsters at different axes of Abuja.


While 18 of them were arrested at Dawaki axis , the remaining 12 were arrested at other locations of Abuja.


Their arrest followed credible intelligence about their suspected involvement in internet activities.


Items seized from the suspects include 23 phones, 4 laptops and 4 vehicles.

They will be charged to court as soon as investigations are concluded.
