 GOVERNOR ABBA  YUSUF SACKS  KANO STATE HEAD OF SERVICE   The Executive Governor of Kano State, Abba Kabir Yusuf, has relieved the State Head of Service, Abdullahi Musa, of his appointment with immediate effect. In a statement  by the Director General, Media and Publicity to the Governor, Sunusi Bature Dawakin Tofa, the decision is part of the ongoing efforts by the present administration to reposition the state civil service for greater efficiency, discipline, and improved service delivery across all government institutions. Governor Yusuf expressed appreciation to the outgoing Head of Service for his contributions and dedication to the service of the State  The statement further directed that Bilkisu Shehu Maimota, the Permanent Secretary, Admin and General Services at the Cabinet Office, to serve in an  acting capacity pending the appointment of a substantive Head of Service.  GOVERNOR UZODIMMA RECEIVES  COUNCIL OF SOUTHERN TRADITIONAL RULERS 



Governor Hope Uzodimma of Imo State warmly welcomed the Council of southern traditional rulers in a historic meeting aimed at fostering unity and addressing regional issues. The gathering which held at the Imo State Governor’s Lodge in Abuja, saw the convergence of prominent monarchs from across the southern states, marking a significant step towards collaborative governance and cultural preservation.


In his address, Governor Uzodimma emphasized the importance of traditional institutions in maintaining societal values and promoting peace. He acknowledged the critical role of the monarchs in mediating conflicts and supporting development initiatives within their communities.


The traditional rulers, led by the Chairman of the Southern Traditional Rulers Council, His Royal Majesty, Oba Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi, the Ooni of Ife, expressed their appreciation for Governor Uzodimma’s inclusive approach and dedication to regional progress.


The meeting concluded with a communal resolution to strengthen the ties between the government and traditional institutions, paving the way for a more united and prosperous southern Nigeria.
