 PRESIDENT TINUBU CONGRATULATES MINISTER OF STATE FOR FOREIGN AFFAIRS AMBASSADOR ENIKANOLAIYE ON HIS BIRTHDAY   President Bola Tinubu has congratulated the Minister of State for Foreign Affairs, Ambassador Sola Enikanolaiye, on his birthday.    A statement by Bayo Onanuga, Special Adviser to the President, Information and Strategy, indicates that the President describes Ambassador Enikanolaiye as a distinguished diplomat, accomplished administrator and dedicated public servant whose career reflects professionalism, patriotism and a deep commitment to Nigeria.   Ambassador Enikanolaiye served in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs from August 1982 to August 2017, rising through the ranks to become Permanent Secretary.  GOVERNOR UZODIMMA RECEIVES  COUNCIL OF SOUTHERN TRADITIONAL RULERS 



Governor Hope Uzodimma of Imo State warmly welcomed the Council of southern traditional rulers in a historic meeting aimed at fostering unity and addressing regional issues. The gathering which held at the Imo State Governor’s Lodge in Abuja, saw the convergence of prominent monarchs from across the southern states, marking a significant step towards collaborative governance and cultural preservation.


In his address, Governor Uzodimma emphasized the importance of traditional institutions in maintaining societal values and promoting peace. He acknowledged the critical role of the monarchs in mediating conflicts and supporting development initiatives within their communities.


The traditional rulers, led by the Chairman of the Southern Traditional Rulers Council, His Royal Majesty, Oba Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi, the Ooni of Ife, expressed their appreciation for Governor Uzodimma’s inclusive approach and dedication to regional progress.


The meeting concluded with a communal resolution to strengthen the ties between the government and traditional institutions, paving the way for a more united and prosperous southern Nigeria.
