 NCoS Debunks Claims of Illegal Detention of Jonathan’s Domestic Staff at Okaka Centre The Nigerian Correctional Service (NCoS) Bayelsa State Command has refuted allegations spread across social media platforms claiming the illegal detention of 15 domestic staff members of former President Goodluck Jonathan and his wife, Dame Patience Jonathan, at the Medium Security Custodial Centre in Okaka. In a statement released by ASC I G.T. Isari, the Public Relations Officer of the Command, the NCoS described the circulating reports as "false and misleading." These reports alleged that the staff members were detained without trial since 2019 on charges of theft and that there was a secretive meeting involving Dame Patience Jonathan and senior correctional officials in Bayelsa. “These statements are unfounded and are being spread to tarnish the image of the Nigerian Correctional Service,” Isari stated.  I’m not your mate in the industry, Etinosa Idemudia drags Pere Egbi


Actress Etinosa Idemudia has called out colleague and reality star, Pere Egbi over an unpaid debt.

Giving an update, she confirmed receiving a refund from Pere after she dragged him on her X-platform with a threat to get him arrested.

She alleged he was paid for a movie role but failed to show up.

Etinosa also warned the reality star that she isn’t his mate in the entertainment industry.

On her X handle, she wrote: “Payment received in full. Dear @PereEgbi if you know you can’t do a job you were paid for, respectfully refund without stress. It helps your integrity. P.S. I am not your mate in this industry. Cheers.

“We allow bad behaviour too much in this industry. If you can’t keep to your agreement with a producer, don’t take his or her money. Nobody plucks money from trees. Keep your bad stinking work ethics at home when you come on set. Etinosa Idemudia 2024. God bless us all.”

 Actor Baba Ijesha appeals five-year jail sentence for sexual assault Nollywood actor Olanrewaju James, known as Baba Ijesha, has filed an appeal against his conviction for the sexual assault of a minor. He has requested the Court of Appeal, Lagos Division, to overturn the ruling of the Lagos State High Court, which sentenced him to five years in prison. The conviction was handed down by Justice Oluwatoyin Taiwo (retd.) of the Ikeja Domestic Violence and Sexual Offences Court on July 14, 2022 to Baba Ijesha. Baba Ijesha through his counsel Kayode Olabiran on Tuesday, told the appeal court that his client was set up and that he acted according to a script that he was invited to act on by his colleague. “The Appellant was set up.
