 Melania reveals true feelings about Donald Trump's attitude towards women In a 2015 interview with Barbara Walters, Melania Trump addressed questions about her husband’s reputation for making sharp remarks about women. She explained that his comments did not trouble her, since he spoke in the same blunt manner toward men.  Walters pressed further, citing Donald Trump’s criticism of Carly Fiorina’s appearance, but Melania maintained that the media tended to highlight his remarks about women more than those about men.  At the time, she chose not to accompany Trump on the campaign trail, preferring to remain at home with their son Barron, though she still offered feedback on his debate performances.  Jigawa Rep member, Isa Dogonyaro dies


A member of the House of Representatives from Jigawa state, Isa Dogonyaro has died.

The first-time lawmaker, who was the vice chairman of the House Committee on HIV/AIDS and Malaria control in the 10th Assembly, reportedly died on Friday morning in Abuja after a brief illness.

The spokesman of the House, Akintunde Rotimi, confirmed the death of the 46-year-old lawmaker

The statement confirming the death reads: “It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Hon. Isa Dogonyaro (Kogunan Ringim), the distinguished Member representing the Babura/Garki Federal Constituency of Jigawa State in the 10th Assembly of the House of Representatives.

“Hon. Dogonyaro passed away after a brief illness, today, Friday, March 10, 2024, in Abuja, at the age of 46.

“Hon. Isa Dogonyaro was a dedicated and passionate legislator who served his constituents and the nation with utmost commitment.

“He was a pillar in the House, contributing significantly to the development of legislation, particularly in the area of HIV/AIDS, Tuberculosis, and Malaria Control, where he served as the deputy chairman of the House Committee.

“Elected on the platform of the All Progressives Congress, Hon. Dogonyaro was known for his integrity, diligence, and unwavering dedication to the welfare of the Nigerian people. His presence will be sorely missed in the hallowed chambers of the House of Representatives.

“Hon. Isa Dogonyaro was a detribalised patriot who was very jovial as much as he was an intellectual. He built strong bonds of friendship with Honourable Members from all parts of the country. He is survived by his wives and children.

“In this moment of grief, our thoughts and prayers are with his family, constituents, colleagues, and the people of Jigawa state. We pray for strength and comfort for all who mourn his passing. Details of his funeral arrangements will be communicated in due course.”
