 Meet The Adorable Daughters Of Rashidi Yekini

Rashidi Yekini was regarded not just as a national hero, but as an African Legend.

Rashidi was Africa's best player of the year in 1993. He was an influential member of the team that partook in the 1994 World Cup, where he scored Nigeria’s first-ever World Cup goal.

With 37 International goals to his name, Yekini still holds the record for the most goals scored for Nigeria. This was a record that had cut across over two decades.

Here are the adorable daughters of Rashidi Yekini;

Rashidat Yemisi Yekini

Born in 1994 in London, Yemisi is the first child of the late Yekini Rashidi. She was only 17 years old when her father passed on.

Yemis attended Eastlea Community school and Epping Forest college in London.

In 2017, she graduated from De Monforte University, Leicester City with distinction in Cinematography. Not only that, but she was also the second-best overall graduating student from the institution that year.

Yemisi is currently the Chief Executive Officer of OJ's Kitchen in the United Kingdom, a kitchen which deals in African cuisines.

Mariam Omoyemi Yekini

Omoyemi is the second daughter of the great legend.

She had her primary and secondary educations in Osun state. Omoyemi is a bachelor's degree holder in English and literary studies, which she obtained from the University of Ilorin in 2019. She served her mandatory NYSC with SuperSports in 2020.

Musidat Damilola Yekini

Damilola was just three years old when her father died in May 2012. At the time of her father's death, Damilola was a nursery school pupil in Abidjan, Côte d'Ivoire, where her mother resides. Her mother, Bilikisu is the third wife of Rashidi.

For many, she could be said to have been born not just with a silver spoon, but a golden one. However, as young as she was, it was a story of hurt and her first visit to her father, was by the graveside. Damilola only met her father once, when she was merely a few months old.
