 GOVERNOR ABBA  YUSUF SACKS  KANO STATE HEAD OF SERVICE   The Executive Governor of Kano State, Abba Kabir Yusuf, has relieved the State Head of Service, Abdullahi Musa, of his appointment with immediate effect. In a statement  by the Director General, Media and Publicity to the Governor, Sunusi Bature Dawakin Tofa, the decision is part of the ongoing efforts by the present administration to reposition the state civil service for greater efficiency, discipline, and improved service delivery across all government institutions. Governor Yusuf expressed appreciation to the outgoing Head of Service for his contributions and dedication to the service of the State  The statement further directed that Bilkisu Shehu Maimota, the Permanent Secretary, Admin and General Services at the Cabinet Office, to serve in an  acting capacity pending the appointment of a substantive Head of Service.  Toke Makinwa reveals “dumbest” thing she ever did


Popular media personality, show host and actress, Toke Makinwa reveals that her only regret in life was bleaching her skin.

According to the on-air personality, it was the “dumbest” thing she ever did.

She, however, said she is grateful for her good genes and money, which suppressed the side effects of the skin bleaching.

The movie star disclosed this during a recent interactive session with fans on X platform.

A fan asked, “If you could go back in time, what would you do differently?”

Makinwa replied, “Nothing. Regret is so exhausting! Wait, maybe bleaching my skin. It was the dumbest thing ever and I’m just so thankful for good genes and money cos….”

Toke Makinwa separated from her estranged husband, Maje Ayida, in 2015 after discovering that he had impregnated his ex-girlfriend.
