  A manhunt is underway for man who shot a Granite City Police Officer multiple times. Officers in Granite City, Illinois, responded to a call regarding a unwanted subject near the 2000 block of Johnson Road at 2:20 p.m. on Friday, December 5th. Upon arrival, officers attempted to make contact with the suspect. The suspect opened fire on officers before fleeing the scene.  Unfortunately, one officer was struck multiple times. The officer was rushed to a St. Louis University Hospital. He is expected to make a full recovery.  A massive manhunt is now underway to locate the suspect. Authorities warn the public that the man is considered armed and dangerous. TRICYCLE THIEF ARRESTED IN LAGOS. (PHOTOS).

Upon receiving information about suspicious activities around a tricycle, a patrol team from Igando Division raced to the scene on Celestial Road and found the tricycle rider unconscious, while Samson Cletus was arrested trying to make away with the tricycle. 


Rider is responding to treatment in a hospital. Meanwhile, efforts are on to arrest other syndicate members who fled upon sighting the police.".
