 ANAMBRA STATE POLICE COMMAND NOTES IMPROVED SECURITY STABILITY IN IHIALA AS OPERATIVES ARREST FOUR SUSPECTS THREATENING KIDNAPPING/ABDUCTION AND VIOLENCE IN THE AREA _as such action has serious implications in jeopardising the security of the State._ Anambra State Police Command notes the improved Security stability in Ihiala and appreciates the good people of Ihiala for their cooperation and resilience in identifying the bad elements in the area.  This is following a painstaking investigation by the Joint Security Force in Ihiala acting on information received over time of faceless individuals/Criminals threatening kidnapping/Abduction, violence and cyberstalking to innocent individuals in the State, especially in Ihiala.  TROOPS ELIMINATE IPOB/ ESN COMMANDER  IN IMO



Sequel to the capture of the notorious stronghold of the IPOB/ESN at Mother Valley, the criminal elements have been making efforts to establish other Camp in the general area and other places. 


Troops of the Joint Task Force Operation UDO KA based on reliable Intel had on 6 May 2024 cleared the general area of Udda, Ihittukwa and Orsumoghu in Orsu Local Government Area of Imo State.


During the special clearance operations troops came in contact with the terrorists who expectantly employed Improvised Explosive Device IEDs to stop the advancing troops. However, the gallant joint troops with superior fire power forced the criminals to withdraw in disarray.  In the encounter, 4 of the irredentists  were neturalized and others escaped with gunshots wounds. One of the IPOB/ESN commanders, TOCHUKWU AKA OJOTO in charge of   Ihietukwa Command despite many charms on his body was neutralized.  Items recovered from the hideouts include, one AK 47 Rifle with two magazines, two automatic pump action guns, three handheld Baofeng radios, one laptop and one Techno phone. Others are, car keys, substance suspected to be Marijuana, Baifran currencies, Quantity 5 IEDs, IEDs making materials, batteries used in detonation of the IEDs and assorted charms. 


The Force Commander Joint Task Force Operation UDO KA; Maj Gen Hassan DADA wishes to assure all citizens of the Joint Task Force commitment to ensure peace and stability in the region.  Actor Baba Ijesha appeals five-year jail sentence for sexual assault Nollywood actor Olanrewaju James, known as Baba Ijesha, has filed an appeal against his conviction for the sexual assault of a minor. He has requested the Court of Appeal, Lagos Division, to overturn the ruling of the Lagos State High Court, which sentenced him to five years in prison. The conviction was handed down by Justice Oluwatoyin Taiwo (retd.) of the Ikeja Domestic Violence and Sexual Offences Court on July 14, 2022 to Baba Ijesha. Baba Ijesha through his counsel Kayode Olabiran on Tuesday, told the appeal court that his client was set up and that he acted according to a script that he was invited to act on by his colleague. “The Appellant was set up.
