 FG MOVES TO CUT EDUCATION COSTS, PROMOTE SUSTAINABILITY WITH REUSABLE TEXTBOOK POLICY The Federal Government of Nigeria has unveiled a comprehensive policy framework aimed at reducing the cost of education for parents, improving learning outcomes, and promoting sustainability in schools through the adoption of reusable, high-quality textbooks and strengthened quality assurance mechanisms. The policy, jointly issued by the Honourable Minister of Education  Dr Maruf Tunji Alausa and the Honourable Minister of State for Education Prof Suiwaba Sai'd, forms part of ongoing reforms to reposition Nigeria’s education sector and ease the financial burden on families.   Woman Dies On Flight From US Days Before Her 60th Birthday In Lagos


The sad story of the death of a Nigerian woman, Yetunde Olubusola Salau who passed away on her way back to the country in anticipation of her planned 60th birthday has surfaced online.  


She is said to have passed away aboard a Delta Airlines flight from Atlanta, USA to Lagos a forthright ago. 


The deceased had shared invitations for her 60th birthday, but the celebration was never to be. According to the invitation seen on social media, the 60th birthday party was meant to hold yesterday, Sunday, May 5, 2024 at The Paragon Hotel, Sangotedo, Lekki.


Details of her death are not immediately available but a commenter on Facebook Bukoladeremi Ladigbolu said she deep Vein thrombosis crises.


Another FB user who commented on Facebook, Oluwatoba Adebayo David acknowledged that the deceased was his classmate at Yabatech and she had already invited them for her big celebration.


Delta Airlines has however not made any official comment about the incident.
