 Sudan war: Army says it inflicts heavy losses on RSF in Darfur, Kordofan Sudan’s army on Friday said that it inflicted heavy losses on the Rapid Support Forces (RSF) during a series of air and ground operations carried out over the past week in the Darfur and Kordofan regions. In a statement, the military said its forces conducted strikes against RSF positions, destroying around 240 combat vehicles and killing hundreds of fighters, Anadolu Agency reported. The army said the operations also targeted what it described as RSF logistical and operational facilities, including drone-related sites and storage areas, as well as locations at Nyala Airport in South Darfur. It added that ground forces had succeeded in pushing RSF fighters out of wide areas in both Darfur and Kordofan, and that operations were ongoing to pursue remaining elements. An aide to the governor of Delta state, Ossai Ovie Success, has knocked singer Paul Okoye, for wearing a cap while being prayed for at his wedding introduction which held in Abia state a few days ago. Earlier today, Paul shared the photos from his introduction to his woman, Ifeoma's family. In one of the photos, Paul was wearing his red cap while being prayed for. In a post shared on his Facebook page, Ossai said this smacks of disrespect to the elderly man that was praying for him. Ossai wrote


‘’This is a total disrespect for the elder praying .


An elder is praying for Rudeboy of P Square during his traditional marriage days back and he is putting on cap.


Out of respect for the elder and his prayer , he ought to have pull off his cap while receiving prayer . The man is not just an elder but an inlaw to him.


Young guys of nowadays lack respect because of money in their possession. This is disrespect to the elder , his prayer and also to culture.''

 Tinubu announces arrival of 4 US attack helicopters President Bola Tinubu has stated that four attack helicopters will soon arrive in the country from the United States amid rising insecurity. Speaking at a meeting with a delegation of the Christian Association of Nigeria, led by its President, Archbishop Daniel Okoh, at his Lagos residence, on Friday, Dec. 26, Tinubu revealed that the Federal Government had ordered four attack helicopters from the U.S, adding that they will arrive in the country “soon”.
