 EFCC Arraigns Two Suspected Fraudsters for Impersonating Kano Oil Mogul The Kano Zonal Directorate of the  Economic and Financial Crimes Commission , EFCC, has arraigned the duo of Sulaiman Inuwa Zakiru and Aliyu Ahmed before Honourable Justice Amina Adamu Aliyu of the Kano State High Court on a two-count charge bordering on conspiracy and obtaining money under false pretenses.   The defendants allegedly conspired to impersonate Alhaji A.A. Rano, a prominent oil mogul and owner of A.A. Rano Oil and Gas Limited and defrauded their victims  the sum of  N12,000,000 (Twelve Million Naira) for payment for an oil allocation purportedly issued by A.A. Rano Oil and Gas. The principal suspect, Sulaiman Inuwa Zakiru allegedly defrauded the petitioner  by claiming that A. A. A DETECTIVE LOST HIS LIFE WHILE UNLOADING WEAPONS AFTER THE EXECUTION OF A WARRANT.(PHOTO).

 A detective with Scottsdale, AZ Police lost his life while unloading weapons after the execution of a warrant.


Detective Ryan So was working to unload weapons with other officers in the special Assignment Unit on June 14th. As Detective So removed a bag from a vehicle, a rifle fell out of the bag and discharged when it hit the ground. The round struck Detective So and other officer's in scene began life saving measures immediately.  He was rushed to a nearby hospital where he succumbed to his injury. There is no report on whether the weapon was confiscated during the warrant or one of the department's weapons. It is also not clear who was responsible for making sure the guns were safe to transport and handle. They have not released where Detective Ryan So's injury occurred. 


Ryan So was a 9 year veteran of the Scottsdale Pd whose untimely passing leaves behind a wife and three daughters. His family is in our thoughts during this difficult time.

 Actor Baba Ijesha appeals five-year jail sentence for sexual assault Nollywood actor Olanrewaju James, known as Baba Ijesha, has filed an appeal against his conviction for the sexual assault of a minor. He has requested the Court of Appeal, Lagos Division, to overturn the ruling of the Lagos State High Court, which sentenced him to five years in prison. The conviction was handed down by Justice Oluwatoyin Taiwo (retd.) of the Ikeja Domestic Violence and Sexual Offences Court on July 14, 2022 to Baba Ijesha. Baba Ijesha through his counsel Kayode Olabiran on Tuesday, told the appeal court that his client was set up and that he acted according to a script that he was invited to act on by his colleague. “The Appellant was set up.
